Cat Pastel Drawing B

| When I went to photograph this pair, the owner had thought that perhaps Sooty would be the more awkward of the two and that we should take his picture first. So we took him outside, leaving Toby watching us through the french windows. Firmly ensconced in his owner's arms, and after a serious amount of wriggling and squawking he let me photograph him. Vastly relieved that the tricky one was behind us, Toby, the easy one, was scooped up and taken outside and Sooty was left indoors. Toby took a long hard look at me, figuring out that I was responsible for upsetting his pal, let rip with loud vocal displeasure and flailing claws and legged it over the garden fence into the woods behind. I had to come back the next day! |
